Giving Marcus UK recurring email and a repeatable process

Financial Services

Celerity rebuilt the Marcus UK Adobe Campaign setup so the team can run recurring emails for the first time, and introduced a standard requirements template that makes every campaign repeatable and easy to understand. The programs have been live since March and Celerity still manages them.

The challenge

Marcus is Goldman Sachs' consumer savings brand. Celerity had already built ETL workflows and templates from scratch for the US savings team, which also had little Adobe Campaign knowledge in-house.

The UK team faced a basic limit: it could not send recurring emails. Its campaigns also had to meet complex segmentation criteria before files went to a third-party sender, and there was no standard way to capture what each campaign required.

What Celerity did

  • Led the revamp. Celerity scoped and led a rebuild of the Marcus UK Adobe Campaign setup.

  • Built recurring delivery. The team built the workflows that let Marcus UK schedule and repeat emails automatically.

  • Standardised requirements. Celerity installed a standard requirements document template for every campaign. It makes builds repeatable, lets more team members see at a glance what is being sent and to whom, and gives a shared starting point for compliance reviews and discussions about new criteria.

  • Trained the team. Celerity taught Marcus UK staff to run the new programs and use the template.

  • Stayed on to manage it. Celerity continues to run and support the programs as a managed service.

The results

  • Recurring email, a first for Marcus UK, in production since March.

  • A repeatable, documented campaign process that more of the team can follow.

  • Faster, clearer compliance and new-criteria conversations, built on one shared template.

  • A trained in-house team and an ongoing Celerity engagement with Goldman Sachs today.
