Role Overview

Celerity is looking for a full-time Presales Solution Consultant to join our Boston office, with expertise in Marketing Automation to provide technical explanation, assistance and guidance during the presales process side-by-side with our Sales Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Celerity sales executive & in some cases in conjunction with Adobe sales executives on proposals, demonstrations and pitches for business
  • Identifying prospects technical and business requirements, prior to determining the solution, and consulting with other Celerity technical teams about capabilities, to address specific marketing automation needs
  • Attending prospect meetings with our Celerity Sales Execs and acting as a technical expert in marketing automation (e.g., campaign management, marketing analytics, digital marketing and/or CMS systems)
  • Helping assemble business cases for the sales team to support their proposals
  • Working closely and collaboratively with customers to devise effective solutions
  • Ensuring that Celerity’s proposed consulting services can deliver to the customer’s requirements
  • Replying to customers follow-up requests for information and proposal requests
  • Presenting proposals to customers alongside members of the sales team
  • Working with the Sales Execs to produce detailed costing for customers and ensuring the contract is profitable
  • Supporting marketing with evangelism activities (writing blogs, participating in demo-driven webinars, speaking at industry events), feeding into the continuous improvement of the Celerity vision

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to articulate and educate on business, technical and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including marketers, developers, architects, IT operations professionals, and senior management
  • Previous experience working within a technical presales position
  • A subject matter expert with extensive marketing automation software systems experience
  • An ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand
  • Deep understanding of enterprise marketing automation technologies and business context
  • A passion for selling and winning with a track record of growing and closing enterprise deals of increasing size
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to excel in a dynamic environment
  • You’re a technologist at heart and can create and deliver custom product demonstrations to progress the sales cycle through to closure
  • Previous experience working for a company similar to Celerity would be a strong advantage
