Account Director UK

My Role at Celerity

I am a Key Account Director with responsibility for some of our larger strategic engagements – namely Sky and Elsevier, but also in a supporting role with some of our mid-tier clients.

My role is to ensure that we understand our clients’ business goals, and that those objectives directly translate into actionable plans for development within technology, strategy and insight.

A big part of driving client success comes from the Celerity team we place – as a result one of my core responsibilities is to ensure that we have a flexible resource pool for each client, with an abundance of depth for agile support of their business specific objectives.

In addition, I’ve helped forge strategic alliances for Celerity with market-leading organizations such as Return Path, and I’ve helped manage transformative ESP migration projects for some of our legacy customers.

A Bit About Me

I’m constantly ridiculed by my Celerity colleagues for being a man in his thirties who drives a 16-year-old boy racer’s car. I don’t mind though – I think it means I’m young at heart.

I’m a keen cyclist – I ride around London, Kent and Surrey and I’ve cycled from London to Paris for charity. I tend to tail off in the winter, get fat at Christmas and then get up to speed again in the Spring.

I’ve been a Chelsea fan for 25 years and have attended matches at Stamford Bridge as much as possible in that time – sometimes that’s a good thing, and sometimes it’s not so good. Highs and lows.

I live in South London with my girlfriend Katy and our two cats Mr Scruff and Zola. We like to travel a lot and in recent years we’ve explored Cuba, Iceland, most of Eastern Europe, Morocco and Colombia. When we’re not doing that we can be found in one of Crystal Palace’s many public drinking houses.
