My role at Celerity
I started at Celerity as a Trainee Project Manager and, in a little over 2.5 years, I have progressed through to Junior Project Manager an now Project Management Officer. My background is completely different to what my current role is having worked as a restaurant manager so I was a little unsure of when I applied for the role of Trainee Project Manager but soon found that this was something that I could see myself doing.
Now, I currently form part of the Project Management Office who help to define and maintain governance and best practice for the Project Services team. As well as offering support and assistance to the other project managers, I also work as the project manager on some of our clients to help me develop my experience with understanding project management and our clients.
A Bit About Me
Now for a bit about me as an individual, I’m most likely to either be shopping (I have a slight, ok maybe serious addiction to shoes, handbags and jewellery), planning to go on holiday to Majorca (I’m not really a cold weather type of person and have been going here since I was 11) or spending time with my friends and family. I’m most likely to be saying I’ve ordered this today from somewhere which gets me into trouble with my parents and friends alike for my serious shopping habit. I enjoy socialising with friends and often can be found organising the girls’ nights out to slightly different places – ping pong and wine who knew that would be such a good mix.
