Celerity jumps up Econsultancy Top 100 Digital Agencies Report 2017

Celerity ranks 7th in Technical Category

We are excited to share that Celerity has climbed seven spaces in this year’s Top 100 Digital Agencies Report by Econsultancy.

They released the 2017 Top 100 Digital Agencies Report on Thursday, ranking agencies across the UK according to digital fee income. Celerity ranked 57th overall,  7th in the Top Technical Agencies, and 1st in Agencies in the South East.

Industry sees average of 20% growth

This year sees the total fee income of the Top 100 digital agencies surpass £2.3 billion, with agencies reporting 20% growth on average. Accenture Interactive took first place, reporting a huge 61% increase in their digital fee income and taking the spot of last year’s winner IBM iX. The growth of Consultancies in the once advertising and media dominated space is unsurprising, as Econsultancy founder Ashley Friedlein comments:

“Digital transformation is a lot about change management, business strategy, data architecture, process, systems integration and cultural transformation, all of which is home turf to consultancies who have also been aggressively acquiring or hiring agency talent.”

Celerity first entered the report in 2016, along with over 200 other agencies all competing for a spot in the Top 100. Climbing up from 64th position last year, we are pleased to see our company jump further up the table and report over 15% growth over the past 12 months.
